• Thistowingstraphasamaximumsafetowingcapacityof2tons.Thisgureisbasedonthe

totalweightofthetowedvehicleincludingpassengers,fuel,luggageetc.Sharpaccelerationor

braking,andsteepgradients,maycausethetowingstraptobeoverloaded

• Beawareofroadtrafclawsbeforeattemptingtotowanyvehicleonapublicroad.Thisproduct

mustonlybeusedwhereitissafeandlegaltodoso

• Boththetowvehicle,andthevehiclebeingtowed,mustbefullyroadlegal,withcurrentMOT,tax

andinsurance,iftheyaretousepublicroads

• Theweightofthetowingvehiclemustalwaysbegreaterthanthatofthevehiclebeingtowed

• Checkthatyourinsurancecoversrecoverytowing

• Switchonthehazardwarninglightsofbothvehicles

• Warning:DONOTletgoofthestrapwhendisengagingthehookfromeithervehicletowingpoint–

theautorecoilsystemmaycausethestrapto‘snap’back,causinginjuryordamage

• Donotexceed15mphwhentowing

• Ensurethevehiclebeingtowedisdisplayingafullrangeofindicator,brakeandmarkerlights

• Onlyconnectthetowstraptopropertowingpoints.Donotusetowpointswithevidenceof

damage/heavyrust

• Placean'ONTOW'markerinaclearlyvisiblepositionontherearofthevehiclebeingtowed

• Donottowavehiclewithdefectivebrakesorsteering

• Nedépassezpas25km/hpendantleremorquage.
